Mitch Mitchell: Mitch Mitchell Last Living Member of Jimi Hendrix Experience is Dead

It looks like the last living member of the Jimi hendrix Experience is dead. Newspapers are reporting that he died of natural causes in his hotel in Portaland Oregon earlier today, Wednesday November 12, 2008. He was on a break from touring at the time.


Mitchell was an incredible drummer. While he did play for other bands, he gained most of his fame from his work in the Jimi Hendrix Experience.


The world has lost another great artist. I only hope that we're creating them as quickly as we're losing them. It is a sad day in deed.
